Songs & Solos

People often ask me what I do as a performer, so this page will be an ongoing work in progress with some examples. Thanks for listening!

Three quarantine era recordings

During the first year of the Covid pandemic, I asked my close friend and brilliant pianist, Dwight Okamura, to record piano accompaniments to some of the music he and I work on, and then decided to see if I could do a live recording from some of those tracks. Here are two Neapolitan songs and an aria from Puccini's "Tosca."

Four short improvised solos

My close friend Rick was doing coffeehouse gigs in San Francisco with his wife, Annie, and I offered to come on board as a lead guitarist. We ended up doing a number of gigs, two of which I recorded. Here are four solos of mine from three of Rick's original songs and one classic country folk tune.
